Wind the Wire near Arnault Lake with Edmonton & Area Land Trust

EALT now has the privilege of stewarding a new property near Arnault Lake (in Lac Ste. Anne County) that we could use some help with. Since the land has not been announced to the public yet, this is an excellent chance to get a first look at the property before it’s officially opened!

About the event
Like many lands when we first start stewarding them, it is surrounded by a fence that is not wildlife-friendly, so we’ll be removing two strands off the top of it to make sure the habitat is safe for wildlife that wants to cross it. This land is very rustic, and there are no formal trails. However, the fence we’ll be working on is directly beside the road, so there will be minimal bushwhacking involved.
Since this land is not open to the public yet, the location and directions from Edmonton will be sent to you in an email preceding the event, along with other details about the day.
