Be Bee-savvy?

Are you into taking photos of insects on native plants?

Are you into taking photos of insects on native plants? ENPS would be interested in having copies of your best shots, especially if they are identified. Please send them to info@enps.ca

A good tool for identifying bees is the BeeMachine software, available on the website beemachine.ai , or as an app for mobile devices. The BeeMachine app opens with a map, and a camera icon at the bottom of the page. If you click on the camera icon, you can either select an image from your photo library, or take a live picture. (If using the website, The BeeMachine welcome page opens with a map and an opportunity to click on "Add a Sighting". Click on this, and"Select Files" allows you to access your images.) The app then provides a bee identification to a given level of confidence.
